"The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is pleased to announce that it will provide lunch and breakfast through the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) extension of the Summer Meal Program. The program starts on June 6th and will continue through September 2, 2022, providing nutritious morning and midday meals to children who would normally receive breakfast and lunch during school. An estimated 1,000 breakfast meals and over 2,200 lunch meals will be served daily. The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) will be served at 48 locations throughout Los Angeles County." - lafoodbank.org
